In keeping with my desire to make 2021 the year of reading books I already own, I decided this is another good challenge to answer the question, keep it or donate it?!!
The premise for this challenge is simple: choose a reading level, read historical novels, write about them on whatever social media you’d like, then link up to the monthly post on the challenge website. There are 3 I have on my shelf that I want to read and I may choose a few more. I will start with ‘Victorian Reader’ but shoot for ‘Renaissance.’ If you are interested or to get more information this challenge is being hosted by Marg at The Intrepid Reader.
Reading levels:
20th Century Reader – 2 books
Victorian Reader – 5 books
Renaissance Reader – 10 books
Medieval – 15 books
Ancient History – 25 books
Prehistoric – 50+ books
I will start with these:
My Notorious Life, Kate Manning
Venetia, Georgette Heyer
Fallen Skies, Philippa Gregory
On the Socials: #histficreadingchallenge
This is so funny, I got just waylaid by your review of CS Lewis’s The Problem of Pain. I want to read more Lewis and I think this is the right one for this time.
Ok, now for the historical fiction! heehee

Laurie, I am also taking part in this challenge, after it was a big success for me in 2020. I hope it helps you get your toppling TBR down and that you have fun, too! 😃

I am looking forward to reading more historical fiction. I may plumb your blog a bit for some titles 🙂 And I wish you well, too!
