Cranford is just wonderful, so comforting. I also loved Pot-Bouille, and Edith Wharton’s short stories are just great. Thanks for signing up!

SO many great books on this list! I enjoyed Cranford. The Judi Dench BBC adaptation is great too. Daddy Long-Legs was a fun one. I have watched the BBC adaptation of Little Dorrit with Claire Foy and Matthew MacFayden, which I love, but the novel is a bit daunting since it is so long.

Hi Elena! I just started Cranford yesterday and it feels like a comfort read, which is perfect right now. I did see an adaptation a long time ago, but I’m not sure which one.
